I was looking for a timer app. I play a time-waster game that requires you to log in a gather tokens every 6-or-so hours. I'm always trying to maximize my productivity and effectiveness--even in leisure activities. I downloaded an app to help with that and was intrigued by one of the selections, a Ponmodoro Timer... So I did some Googling and found this lifehacker article . The Pomodoro Technique was invented in the early 90s by developer, entrepeneur, and author Francesco Cirillo. Cirillo named the system "Pomodoro" after the tomato-shaped timer he used to track his work as a university student. I'll let you read more on it if you want, but I'll be using the app to try it out.
